Boulder Food Rescue aims to educate communities about food justice. We give educational talks on food waste, food rescue, complexities of capitalism and the globalized food system, food insecurity and privilege and sustainability in a number of venues. It is an important part of our mission to perform outreach on these issues and help inform a dialogue about sustainable solutions to food waste and malnutrition in our community. In addition to talks, we also work with student groups and employee volunteer groups. If you would like to have Boulder Food Rescue speak in your classroom, congregation, or at a conference contact [email protected]. Following is a list of our prior speaking engagements.
Furthermore, every Spring we host the Forward Food Summit, which is a two day conference focusing on food justice. Click here to learn more.
