Garden Against Hunger is a project of BFR that aims to rescue excess food grown by local gardeners as well as educate the Boulder community about the importance of growing food. To that end, GAH seeks to engage the community in creating alternatives to a profit-driven food system as well as reestablish a personal connection to the food they consume
Take part in the movement to end hunger in Boulder through your garden. Garden Against Hunger provides you with the seeds and several locations to drop your excess harvested food. Food is picked up daily by Boulder Food Rescue volunteers and distributed to the hungry, homeless, and at risk population in our community.
