Garden Against Hunger is a project of BFR that aims to rescue excess food grown by local gardeners. GAH seeks to engage the community in creating alternatives to a profit-driven food system as well as continue to minimize food waste in our community.
Take part in the movement to end hunger in Boulder through your garden. Garden Against Hunger provides you with several locations to drop your excess harvested food. Food is picked up weekly (Thursday mornings) by Boulder Food Rescue volunteers and distributed to the hungry, homeless, and at risk population in our community.
